Dear students, we have been conducting online Physics lab since the pandemic started. This very website is used in the purpose. The introduction is launched today, 25th October, 2021. We shall post specific jobs (practical works of Physics until the regular classes start) that will include:
- Demonstration,
- Question-answer_1 (written),
- Data taking,
- Data submission,
- Question-answer_2 (written),
- Graph making,
- Calculation,
- Final submission,
- Trouble shooting and
- Lab viva.
All jobs will maintain some schedule. According to the schedule Job 1, the first job, will start tonight.
Many questions will arise when you go through the videos above and then try to do Job 1. Do not worry, we shall resolve all of them in the classes next week. No job is going to be posted in the next week. Only discussion.
So, let us start with all the problems and meet in the next week. All the best.
We place a few questions in the enrolment form here. Everybody has to fill up this enrolment form before 8:00 pm, 25th October, 2021 to obtain marks in the semester.

Feel Friendly and Confident to Deal with Practical Problems
The study of practical Physics needs physical interaction with the real world. So, online lab work is not a complete substitute of the same. But unprecedented situations demand unprecedented initiatives.
So our department deals with the students by arranging some online activities. Here students would be confronted with a handful of time bound jobs. Each job Would be divided into 4 sessions.
We are happy to start full length practical classes here in the site.

Dear learners, as we all see, a part of the experience of some basic Engineering Physics lab is possible to deliver online. But we have to always acknowledge that these online labs are not complete alternatives of real practical works. So, after trying two experiments with animated set up let us try some new thing. Here we present JOB 4 with a bit new content.

This time learners are a bit familiar with the online lab. So we expect you shall ask questions timely in two rounds and avoid repeating same questions.
We have seen, many learners do not properly name their files before uploading them. This practice is problematic and may lead to error in awarding marks. Please be careful.
We expect that everybody will collect readings in time and submit them following the schedule.

Dear learners, after all our preparation for physical lab works in the college we have got the third wave of the pandemic and academics is remanded to the online custody again. This time we are going to deal with two small works on a virtual optical bench. Please follow the same schedule we have been maintaining. Thank you all for cooperating in such unprecedented compulsions.
